Well, I got back from my trip yesterday. I'm SO glad to be home.
I was talking to a friend of mine last night.. And we got onto the discussion of permits, liscenses, jobs, College.. I realized then, that childhood was completely behind us and we were entering into the cold hands of adulthood. Although, I never really had a childhood, but now I'm really regretting that. I'm not saying I don't look forward to permits, jobs, liscenses and College, but I thought that there would have been more of a transition than just "Hey! You're becoming an adult now! Hurry the hell up and get moving!". Suppose I just miss the days where my friends and I would ride horses and pretend we were the cowgirls running from the Indians.. Running .003 second times for barrels.. Playing with toy horses and house.. And your biggest worry is how late you'll be able to play outside on a school night.
Now my worries are the high school I applied for.. If I'm getting in there. What I'm going to do with my life. What kind of job I'll be getting this summer to pay for my car and everything else I need. When I'll be moving out.. What boys/girls think of me.. If I'll have a date to the dance or if I'll be alone.. Eh.. Some stupid things, but I think everyone gets the picture.
Anyway, I've been reading some pretty good books lately and thought I'd give a little "talk" about them on here in case anyone was interested...
"Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson was completely amazing. I cried through the last few chapters and was put into suspence a few times. It hit some home runs into my personal life, as I think it would for most teenagers. Being an outcast, with no friends and parents who... Could really give a shit about you.. I highly reccomend this book.
"Perfect Chemistry" by Simone Elkeles ... Let me tell you, this book hit a soft spot for me. Two teens from different sides of the track fall in love and all hell breaks loose. It was completely amazing and held some kick ass fight scenes in it that kept me in suspense most times. All in all, it was a great book and had an ending I was hoping for. [:

So, is everyone excited for Christmas?!

OH! One more thing! I'm testing for my permit tomorrow!

Wish me luck!
